100 Panggang Island People Enjoy Floating Clinic Service

Residents are quite enthusiastic, since yesterday there have been around 100 people who have enjoyed the service

The Thousand Islands Regency administration has collaborated with the Al-Quran Waqf Board (BWA) and the PT Kimia Farma to hold free floating clinic service for residents on Pramuka Island, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district.

Floating Clinic Committee Chairman, Achmad Mufrodi said it had been held since yesterday and would end today. He also held socialization about the health of pregnant and lactating mothers, as well as the application of a Clean and Healthy Lifestyle (PHBS).

Floating Clinic Services Make it Easy for Locals on Harapan Island to Get Treatment

"Residents are quite enthusiastic, since yesterday there have been around 100 people who have enjoyed the service," he expressed, Friday (6/18).

He explained it involved as many as 12 general practitioners and specialists.

"Most patients complain of joint disease, cholesterol, blood sugar and uric acid," he explained.

Panggang Island Urban Village People's Welfare Division Head, Shopiah expressed his grateful for the free health service in his region.

"Hopefully it can be sustainable considering it is very important for locals, so thank you," he stated.
