Update! Cijantung Urban Village Head Died from Coronavirus

Innalillahi Wa Innailaihi Rojiun, Haerudin bin H. Naimin, Head of Cijantung Urban Village, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta, died from Covid-19 on Friday (6/25), at around 1:10 AM. His body will be buried under the Covid-19 protocol at the Bambu Apus TPU, Cipayung, this afternoon.

Pasar Rebo Sub-district Head, Raden Anthoni Widodo when being confirmed said that he felt lost with the figure of the urban village head who was known for his hard work and high responsibility and dedication. He was also known as a patient figure and always run duties well.

"He died in Pasar Minggu RSUD and there was no special ceremony. We grieve and let's pray that his deeds of worship are accepted by Allah and the families left behind are given patience and fortitude," he expressed.

Last Monday (6/14), he continued, Mr. Haerudin had visited one of his residents who was undergoing self-isolation yet did not enter the house.

After that, he had a fever at night. The next day still had time to attend a meeting at the sub-district office. Because of not feeling well and fever, he finally allowed to go home.

"Based on his wife's story, he often complains of not feeling well and having a fever. Finally, we ask him to rest at home, don't have to think about work first for healing," he continued.

Unluckily he was getting worse and was immediately treated to the Pasar Minggu RSUD on Thursday (6/24). At 11 PM, he was then rushed to the ICU. However, at around 1:10 AM he was reported to have died.

His wife was also exposed to Covid-19 and is currently undergoing self-isolation at her home in Lubang Buaya, Cipayung.

"We urge all civil servants and locals to always comply with health protocols and hold on a Clean and Healthy Lifestyle (PHBS). This is for our of course," he stressed.
