After inaugurated by President Indonesia Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo in the State Palace, Wednesday (11/19), Basuki ‘Ahok’ T Purnama directly carries his tasks as Jakarta Governor as soon as he arrived at City Hall. The first thing he did was holding executive meeting (rapim) with some city officials. Then, he signed some documents.

“I’ve started working, signed here,” said Ahok while showing some documents, Wednesday (11/19).

As governor, Ahok will work in the room placed by Jokowi before.

“This is Jokowi’s chair, feels more comfortable. This chair exists from Sutiyoso era, and already moldy in Jokowi era. So, I said to General Division, we have money or not? If we have, please change the seat’s cover with leather,” he uttered.

According to Ahok, the governor’s room which located on the first floor of Blok G City Hall has some minuses than his previous room on the second floor.

“It is narrower. Upstairs, I can see Monas. In here, the view is less beautiful. But like it or not, I must occupy this room,” he stated while laughing.
