Breakwater Repair Work in Northeast Side of Untung Jawa Island Completed

Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency completed breakwater repair in the northeast side of Untung Jawa Island, Untung Jawa Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district.

We rearrange 249 tetrapods thus it can withstand the waves well

Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Hendri conveyed, in this repair, his side rearranged the disordered tetrapods along more than 600 meters because of wave.

"We rearrange 249 tetrapods thus it can withstand the waves well. This work has been started since last week and completed yesterday," he mentioned, Friday (7/2).

Breakwater Repair Work on East Side of Karya Island Has Reached 80 Percent

In this breakwater re pair work, his side deployed 14 personnel as well as raft and one heavy equipment ship unit.

"After rearranging tetrapods, we hope it can be stronger to hold high waves and prevent abrasion," he conveyed.
