The Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is conducting maintenance on breakwaters in Untung Jawa Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district, Thousand Islands.
Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Hendri said the maintenance included patching the perforated breakwater surface and painting.
Collapsed Breakwater on East Side of Panggang Island Repaired"It is focused on the Untung Jawa Island Main Pier as long as 224 meters and in the front of SDN 01 Pulau Untung Jawa as long as 142.8 meters and 1.23 meters width," he expressed, Thursday (5/27).
He explained it had been ongoing since May 26 and involved eight personnel.
"It is targeted to be complete by the end of this May," he stated.
