And at this meeting, we want to talk about how we can get through and end it, through two ways, infection and vaccination, which is definitely not infected, so we have to push the vaccination," he expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Monday (7/19).
He explained they have a very potential role in mobilizing people to take vaccinations. Therefore, they were asked to immediately take pat in vaccination and encourage people around them to visit vaccination centers, especially those in urban villages.
"We need your support, invite your neighbors, family to take vaccinations, including you," he explained.
He asked them to meet the target, where vaccination centers in each urban village were asked to vaccinate 1,000 people every day, to fast-track the COVID-19 vaccination drive thus they could reach herd immunity.
"It will be intensified in each urban village. We do this to protect our people, as this is what allows us to get through this pandemic," he explained.
"The completion of this pandemic depends on us, the more people who are vaccinated, the fewer will be positive. So, the sooner this pandemic will end," he stated.
