About 22 kg of qurban meat detected unfit for human consumption were destroyed by the Central Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency, on Wednesday (7/21).
Central Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Head, Penti Yunesi Pudyastuti revealed, the meat was destroyed using chemical liquid and then buried.

She added examination had been carried out against 80 locations spread over eight sub-districts.
"In total, today, as many as 1,552 qurban animals have been examined and deserve to be slaughtered. They consist of 364 cows, 2 buffaloes, 1,119 goats and 57 sheep," she concluded.
