Don’t Miss Betawi Art and Culture Festival on November 29-30!

Jakarta Tourism and Culture Department on upcoming November 29 will hold Betawi Art and Culture Festival (FSBB) in three different locations, namely Setu Babakan (South Jakarta), Lapangan Banteng (Central Jakarta), and Epicentrum Shopping Center (South Jakarta). A number of famous artists will enliven the event, such as Ayu Ting Ting, Cita Citata, Ridho Rhoma, Mpok Nory, and Haji Bolot.

The first day of FSBB will be held in Setu Babakan and Lapangan Banteng on Saturday (11/29), while the peak of the event will be held in Epicentrum Kuningan on the next day at 3-10 PM

“The first day of FSBB will be held in Setu Babakan and Lapangan Banteng on Saturday (11/29), while the peak of the event will be held in Epicentrum Kuningan on the next day at 3-10 PM,” informed Head of Jakarta Tourism and Culture Department, Arie Budhiman, Thursday (11/27).

According to Budhiman, FSBB is a routine event by his department to preserve the culture of Betawi as the host of the capital city. The event is open for public and free of charge. Residents can enjoy a variety of traditional as well as modern cultures performed by 200 Betawian artists.

“FSBB is also held to promote Jakarta as a tourism and culture city, as well as becomes a gathering place for artists and humanists. Various traditional Betawian arts will be displayed, such as music, lenong (traditional Betawi comedy theater), dance, and Betawi puppet show. We invite Jakartans to come to this event,” he uttered.
