The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy is going to hold Cultural Carnival Parade this afternoon, Monday (8/18), at 3-5 PM on Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Central Jakarta. In this event, Jakarta Provincial Government will participate and perform two giant masks.
There are two giant masks that will be carried by 100 dancers wearing masks. The masks correspond to the typical of capital city because they are the symbols of Betawi culture

Cultural Carnival Parade is a routine held every year and participated by 34 provinces in Indonesia. It aims to improve the creativity of arts in form of carnival that is characterized with Indonesian cultures, increase public appreciations against arts and cultures in Indonesia, and create creative waves to realize competitive work at the national level and create an event that became an icon of performing arts creative economy for tourism attraction.
