Satpol PP Forms Nail Mines Sweeper Team

Jakarta Satpol PP formed nail mines sweeper team to provide sense of security and comfort for residents, especially road users.

Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Arifin mentioned , this special team was formed to follow up resident's complaint regarding nail mines on several roads that could potentially endanger road users.

"We are trying our best to protect the safety of road users, especially from threat of nail mines that can make their vehicle tires leak or burst," he stated at Jakarta City Hall, Monday (10/25).

According to him, nail mines scattered in several major roads in Jakarta. Not only nails, but also shards of scissors, broken glass, and others. Therefore, his side formed special team to handle nail mines to clean the roads from nail mines.

"There is no permanent spot for nail mines, because those irresponsible people will continue to move to other places thus all roads will be our targets, such as Jalan Gatot Subroto, Jalan Letjen Suprapto, Jalan Kalimalang, Jalan Kalimalang, and others. We will continue to patrol and ensure all major roads in Jakarta are safe from nail mines," he asserted.

His side will act decisively if they find the perpetrators who spread the nail mines on the roads.

"Currently, we are focusing on patrolling major roads such as Jalan Gatot Subroto, Jalan MT Haryono, Tebet, and Jalan Kalimalang. After that, we will also patrol by targeting small roads in Jakarta. It is for the safety and comfort of road users," he mentioned.
