COVID-19 Vaccination Rate in Cipedak Urban Village Touches 83.66 Percent

COVID-19 vaccination rate in Cipedak Urban Village, Jagakarsa Sub-district, South Jakarta reached 83.66 percent as of November 17, 2021. It brought Cipedak Urban Village as the fifth place out of 65 urban villages in South Jakarta based on achievement of vaccination rates.

With 32,044 residents who have been vaccinated, COVID-19 vaccination rate in Cipedak Urban Village has reached 83.66 percent

Cipedak Urban Village Head, Saidih mentioned, his side targeted 38,303 residents in the region to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Data as of November 17, 2021 stated that 32,044 residents aged 12 years and over had been vaccinated with dose 1 vaccine.

"With 32,044 residents who have been vaccinated, COVID-19 vaccination rate in Cipedak Urban Village has reached 83.66 percent," he informed, Thursday (11/18).

According to him, it was not easy to achieve it. Especially without health center in the region. However, thanks to high awareness of residents to be vaccinated and hard work of related agencies in intensifying socialization and education in 75 RTs and 6 RWs, the region was able to reach the fifth place.

Some of his efforts were writing letters to residents who haven't been vaccinated to come to the vaccination site, optimizing roles of dasawisma cadres, PKK cadres, Jumantik cadres, karang taruna, FKDM, LMK, PPSU personnel, as well as community leaders and religious leaders to pick up residents door-to-door, especially elderly, to take vaccination.

"From the beginning until now, vaccination is carried out in sub-district health center and RPTRA Cendikia, including through dynamic vaccination centers," he conveyed.
