Road Elevation Project Complained by Road Users

Triggering long traffic congestion, the elevation project done on Jalan Arjuna Utara, Kebun Jeruk, and Jalan Daan KM 13, Pesing, precisely from Cengkareng towards Grogol, West Jakarta, is complained by road users.
Prior to the elevation project, congestion was rarely happened on Jalan Arjuna Utara. But now, it often happens because the road is narrowing

Based on beritajakarta.com observations, Jalan Arjuna Utara is being for elevated for approximately 1 meter high and 500 meters long, while Jalan Daan Mogot is heightened and reinforced with concrete for nearly 1 meter high and 400 meters long. The condition of both locations looks chaotic because big coral rocks are scattered.
“Prior to the elevation project, congestion was rarely happened on Jalan Arjuna Utara. But now, it often happens because the road is narrowing,” said Wawan, a passing motorist in the location, Sunday (11/30).
In order to parse traffic congestion, officers from West Jakarta Metro Resort Police Traffic Unit are deployed to the locations.
“Every day we send officers to minimize traffic congestion in the field. Hopefully the related unit could immediately finish the project, so traffic congestion would not be getting worse,” stated West Jakarta Metro Resort Police Traffic Unit Deputy Chief Comr. Budiyono.
