Jakarta - ACT Distributes 10 Trucks Containing Aid to Lumajang

City Secretary, Marullah Matali, officially released around 10 trucks containing logistical aid for villagers affected by Mount Semeru eruption in Lumajang Regency, East Java, at Jakarta City Hall, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta, on Friday (12/10). Moreover, the action got support from the Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) humanitarian organization.

InsyaAllah, all packages sent are complete and fulfilled for those in need there, starting from packages of food needs, medicines, new clothes, children's food, hygiene kits and masks

ACT President, Ibnu Khajar said, it is the result of donations and as a form of support from Jakarta residents.

"InsyaAllah, all packages sent are complete and fulfilled for those in need there, starting from packages of food needs, medicines, new clothes, children's food, hygiene kits and masks," he expressed, at Jakarta City Hall.

Jakarta Team Continues to Boost Semeru Recovery Efforts

City Secretary, Marullah Matali appreciated and was grateful for the concern and humanitarian spirit of all elements of the Jakarta community who have provided aid to Lumajang people. Similar appreciation also came from the ACT humanitarian organization as a collaborator for the Jakarta administration who had been involved in many humanitarian movements, especially in disaster management.

"This collaboration proves the Indonesian nation as a nation that cares for each other. Hopefully, it can be maintained," he stated.
