The winners of the photography contest titled 12 North Jakarta Destination Routes 2021 held by the local Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency (Parekraf) have been announced.

They are Rizal Fauzi (51) who wins the 1st place, followed by Ranar Pradipto in 2nd place and Ignatius Heru S in 3rd place.

North Jakarta Administration Secretary, Abdul Khalit said, the contest participated by 1,650 people with 20 finalists is one of the sub-sectors of the creative economy that utilizes science and technological developments. He hoped, it could give birth to new creative economy actors in the field of photography to create new jobs.
"With its aesthetics and uniqueness, the 12 routes of North Jakarta tourist destinations can be widely introduced to the public from a photographic lens. Congratulations to the 20 finalists, where all of you are winners," he expressed, during the presentation of trophies and awards at North Jakarta Mayor's Office, Monday (12/13).
North Jakarta Parekraf Sub-agency Head, Wiwik Satriani added, most participants were from Greater Jakarta. They uploaded photos on Instagram of each participant from November 26 to December 10.
"Assessment is carried out on the work related to the fulfillment of the elements of the theme, aesthetics and image value," he explained.
According to him, this competition aims to introduce 12 routes of tourist destinations in North Jakarta until outside the region to the world.
"Our hope is the winners can be our ambassadors to participate in campaigning for tourist destinations in North Jakarta," he hoped.
One of the winners, Rizal Fauzi admitted that he was surprised that his work was chosen to be the best.
"My work is actually a family documentation while on the Dunia Fantasi's Ontang-anting ride, Ancol. Photography is my hobby for refreshing when after work, I'm really grateful and I didn't expect that from a hobby, I could win a competition," he admitted.
