The Ramadhan 1442 Hijri Festival is held on Sebira Island, Harapan Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district, Thousand Islands. The festival, which runs from May 8-10 is enlivened with various Islamic-nuanced competitions at the Jami' Nurul Bahri Mosque.

Harapan Island Urban Village Secretary, Irfan Damanhuri said the various activities contested included, adzan competitions for children and adolescents; verse contests; memorizing Hijaiyah letters; dai cilik; and recitation of the Qur'an for children and adolescents.
"It aims to maintain the tradition of welcoming Ramadhan by enhancing the mental and spirituality of children and adolescents on Sebira Island," he expressed, Sunday (5/9).

"We appreciate the enthusiasm of the residents and the youth on Sebira Island. Despite they are far from the center of government, it doesn't dampen their enthusiasm to continue creating and achieving," he stated.
