Council Member Appreciates Covid-19 Vaccination for Students Aged 6-11

Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD)'s Commission E Member, Muhammad Thamrin gave his appreciation and support for Covid-19 vaccination drive for elementary school (SD) students aged 6-11 in Jakarta, on Tuesday (12/14).

It can be seen from the queues since the morning, many parents taking their children to school for vaccines. This is so amazing

According to him, it is a very good breakthrough from the Jakarta administration to prevent new clusters among students during face-to-face learning (PTM) in schools.

"Students and parents will feel safe when the PTM reopens after the long holiday," he said, during vaccination at SDN Susukan 08 Pagi, East Jakarta.

He mentioned, it was very important, moreover most students already want to experience face-to-face learning at school like before.

He also appreciated the parents who were very enthusiastic about supporting their children to participate in the vaccine.

"It can be seen from the queues since the morning, many parents taking their children to school for vaccines. This is so amazing," he concluded.

Ismianto (37), one of parents admitted, it would not worry him if his child returned to school.

"If all have been vaccinated and continue to run health protocols, hopefully we can stop the spread of Covid-19," he stated.
