Jakarta Government Wins 5 Categories at Top Digital Awards 2021

Jakarta Government won the TOP DIGITAL Awards 2021. The award was given at the peak event of TOP DIGITAL Awards 2021 which took place at Raffles Hotel Jakarta, Tuesday (12/21).

Jakarta Government won awards for five categories, namely Top Digital Implementation 2021 Level Stars 5 for Jakarta Government; Top Leader on Digital Implementation 2021 for Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan; Top CIO on Digital Implementation 2021 for Jakarta Communication, Information and Statistics Agency Head, Atika Nur Rahmania; Top Digital in Public Service & Smartcity Solution 2021 for Jakarta Government; and Top IT Manager on Digital Implementation 2021 for Jakarta Smart City BLUD Chairperson, Yudhistira Nugraha.
Jakarta Secretary, Marullah Matali representing Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan received the award. He conveyed that the award was the result of collaboration and hard work of many parties which should be appreciated.

Jakarta Smart City BLUD Chairperson, Yudhistira Nugraha, also explained that Jakarta Government continues to innovate in the field of digital technology. One of them is Jakarta Kini (JAKI) application, which has been downloaded by 2.5 million users, has excellent feature called Jak Lapor. It is an official complaint channel to report various city problems based on geo tagging and Jakarta COVID-19 Response containing various data, information, and supporting features to control COVID-19 pandemic.
"There is also Rapid Community Response (CRM) application that integrates complaint handling within Regional Apparatus Organizations. Until November 2021, there were 120,562 incoming reports and 98% of them had been completed with an average completion time of 26 hours," he added.
Digital transformation is also implemented within ranks of Jakarta Government. With that, Jakarta Government can apply the principles of good governance, where the administrative system is faster, more efficient, accountable, and transparent.
The TOP DIGITAL Awards 2021 event was organized by ItWorks magazine in collaboration and supported by several TELCO/Digital IT Consulting Associations and Companies. Winning TOP DIGITAL Awards shows that the management of government institutions/companies has been managed in a modern, professional, and reliable manner by implementing and utilizing more sophisticated information and digital technology.
