380 Satpol PP Personnel Deployed to 11 Locations

As many as 380 members of Satpol PP have been deployed to 11 crowd-prone areas in order to secure the year-end holiday period. Most of them are alerted in East Flood Canal (KBT) area, which is a crowd free night (CFN) zone.

These 380 Satpol PP personnel will join other elements in the field, such as army/police, Transportation Sub-agency, etc

East Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Budhy Novian said, those 380 personnel had attended in 10 sub-district offices and at Cipinang Indah Bridge, KBT, border area of Pondok Bambu (Duren Sawit) with Cipinang Besar Selatan (Jatinegara).

"These 380 Satpol PP personnel will join other elements in the field, such as army/police, Transportation Sub-agency, etc. In total, there are 11 monitoring points that are a priority scale," he said.

Of 380 personnel, 120 people were deployed to KBT area. They consisted of 50 personnel of army and 60 personnel of police. Then 260 other personnel spread out to Jatinegara Bridge Item Flea Market area and Jatinegara Fish Market.

Then Jenderal Oerip Soemoharjdo, PGC Cililitan intersection, in front of Kramat Jati Market, Rebo Market Flyover, Klender Flyover, Jalan KRT Radjiman, etc.

"They also have the task of going around monitoring the area. If there is a crowd of people, they will dispel," he stated.
