Ali Maulana Hakim Inaugurates Grape House at North Jakarta LH Office

North Jakarta Mayor, Ali Maulana Hakim inaugurated grape house at North Jakarta Environment (LH) Sub-agency Office, Jalan Alur Laut RT 03/06, Rawa Badak Selatan Urban Village, Koja Sub-district, North Jakarta.

With urban farming concept, growing grapes is not only to make the environment greener, but the fruits can be also consumed

He said that growing grapes is the same as growing other fruits, but it is more interesting because the tree looks more exclusive and requires intensive care.

"With urban farming concept, growing grapes is not only to make the environment greener, but the fruits can be also consumed by everyone who work in LH Sub-agency," he conveyed, Tuesday (1/4).

North Jakarta LH Sub-agency Head, Achmad Hariadi stated, the grape house was built since December 2021 by utilizing the office's backyard with size 4x20 meters.

"We plant various types of grapes, such as brazilia, jupiter, isabella and akademik and combination (grafting) between ordinary and good quality grapes. We estimate that in the next three or four months we will be able to harvest them," he mentioned.
