Water Channel Being Built on Jalan Bidara Raya Pejagalan

The North Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is building a water channel on Jalan Bidara Raya, RT 01 and RT 02/RW 04, Pejagalan Urban Village, Penjaringan Sub-district, North Jakarta.

Penjaringan Sub-district's SDA Executing Unit Head, Pendi said, it was carried out, as the previous channel was buried in the ground so it no longer worked. By doing so, it could smoothen the flow of water in a bid to anticipate inundation.

"This is to restore the function of the channels," he expressed, Thursday (1/20).

Early February, Channel Normalization on Jalan Borobudur Completed

He explained, the channel that will have 15 meters long with 50 centimeters wide and 70 centimeters deep connects RT 01 and 02 areas, RW 04 Pejagalan Urban Village.

"The work that involves nine personnel has been ongoing since Wednesday (1/19) and is targeted to be complete next week," he closed.
