East Jakarta Dinsos to Re-list Aid Beneficiaries in February

The East Jakarta Social Sub-agency is set to open another registration for poor families to receive assistance in the forthcoming February.

Hope the updating of the poor people's data can be carried out properly

It was revealed on the sidelines of a forum for residents' aspirations to oversee social protection reform for the poor in Jakarta, which was held at the East Jakarta GOR, Jalan Raya Otista, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, Thursday (1/28) yesterday.

The forum opened by East Jakarta Vice Mayor, Hendra Hidayat was realized in collaboration with the Jakarta Social Agency (Dinsos) with the Indonesian People's Struggle Union (SPRI). It was discussing the issue of social assistance from the Social Ministry and the Dinsos.

Through forum like this, East Jakarta Vice Mayor, Hendra Hidayat said, there were inputs, information and suggestions from stakeholders related to poor people's data that may have been overlooked so far.

"Hope the updating of the poor people's data can be carried out properly. Thus, those who have yet to receive social assistance can get it in the future," he expressed.

East Jakarta Dinsos Head, Purwono asserted that he would help facilitate poor people who have not been registered in the beneficiary card (KPM) or the integrated social welfare data (DTKS) to receive benefits.

"That's why, we plan to open registration in February for poor families to get assistance," he closed.
