Passenger Arrival Control at Pramuka Island Pier Tightened

Supervision of ship passenger arrivals at Pramuka Island Main Pier, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Seribu Islands Sub-district has been tightened following the increase in Covid-19 cases.

No violation so far

North Seribu Islands Sub-district Satpol PP Head, Edi Syahrudi said, it was aimed at anticipating the spread of Omicron coronavirus variant, especially in Seribu Islands.

"Officers ensure passengers comply with procedures such as wearing masks, washing hands in the places provided, maintaining distance and being able to show proof of vaccines via PeduliLindungi application," he expressed, Sunday (1/30).

Joint Personnel Disperse Crowds at Two Locations

Until 10 AM, based on the manifest, there were 314 passengers recorded from the seven arrivals of ships departing from Marina Ancol and Kaliadem piers, Penjaringan, North Jakarta.

"No violation so far. They can show proof of vaccine, but we have warned them to implement health protocol rules during activities," he stated.

He added, the joint officers deployed consisted of Satpol PP, Transportation Sub-agency, Seribu Islands Port Authority (KSOP), Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency, army/police assisted by FKDM.
