The 18-meter-deep infiltration well, which is built on Jalan Giri Kenyan, RT 06/02, Cilangkap, East Jakarta is under a trial stage led by Cilangkap Urban Village Head, Nasir Sugiar, on Sunday (2/6).

During the trial, the well was sprayed with water from a 5,000-liter-capacity tank. Within an hour, the 5,000 liters of water was completely absorbed into the ground through the well.

He explained that there were 40 wells built in RW 02 area. Five of them were drilled to 18 meters deep. While the other 35 wells were drilled to three meters.
