Thousand Islands Reactivates 19 Integrated Isolation Locations

The Thousand Islands Regency has reactivated integrated isolation locations (isoter) on several islands in North and South Thousand Islands sub-districts.

We prepare it to anticipate a spike in COVID-19 cases

Thousand Islands Regency Assistant for Administration, Alawi mentioned, his side had prepared the total of 19 locations for integrated isolation, such as regency office on Pramuka Island, technical office on Karya Island, and urban village offices on Pari, Tidung, Panggang, Kelapa, and Harapan islands.

Then also school buildings of SMP 288, SMP 285, SDN 04 Pulau Tidung, SDN 01 Pulau Kelapa, school dormitories, and rumah singgah (shelter) on Sebira Island.

Public Kitchen on Tidung Island Receives Logistic Aid

According to him, those isolation locations provided 32 rooms and 214 beds, as well as hand washing facilities and bathrooms.

"We prepare them to anticipate the spike in COVID-19 cases. But, hopefully, it doesn't happen," he said, Saturday (2/12).

He assessed that they would make it easier for the South Thousand Islands COVID-19 Task Force to control and supply foods, drinks, and vitamins.

"Currently, a public kitchen has also been built in Tidung Island Urban Village," he closed.
