Disdik Starts Collecting Data for KJP Plus Phase 1 2022

The Jakarta Education Agency (Disdik) has started collecting data for the first phase of Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus 2022.

If the student's name is listed in DTKS data that we receive, it will definitely be processed as a prospective KJP Plus recipient

The mechanism for determining the eligibility of prospective KJP recipients in this year's data collection is no longer determined by school but uses Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) from Social Agency's Social Security Data and Information Center (Pusdatin Jamsos).

Jakarta Disdik's Center for Personal Funding and Education Operations (P4OP) Unit Head, Waluyo Hadi conveyed, students who are not registered can contact or meet Social Assistant (Pendamsos) at the local urban village or urban village listed on a family card (KK) used to apply for DTKS.

Later, officers from the urban villages will survey the registrant's house. After being surveyed and declared eligible to be listed in DTKS, registrants need to wait for DTKS data to be validated by the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos).

"Disdik is only the recipient and user of DTKS data sent by Dinsos. If the student's name is listed in DTKS data that we receive, it will be processed as a prospective KJP Plus recipient," he stated, Monday (2/14).

According to him, schools can verify data on prospective KJP Plus recipients that have been sent to schools by the P4OP Unit in stages from February 14, 2022.

"Schools can inform prospective recipients who have been registered in DTKS. For those whose names have not been listed in the first submission, please wait for the second one which was sent by P4OP to schools," he added.

The following is the mechanism and timeline related to KJP Plus Phase 1 2022 data collection:

- February 18-25: Schools will announce the temporary recipient candidate data from Jakarta Government's Integrated Data.

- February 14-25: Prospective recipients complete the required documents through school.

- February 28-March 11: Verifying prospective recipients' documents.

- March 14-31: Confirming final recipient data.

KJP Plus funds that will be received by students at SD/MI/SLB (elementary) level are Rp 250 thousand per month; then Rp 300 thousand per month for SMP/MTs/SMPLB and PKBM (junior high) level; Rp 420 thousand per month for SMA/MA/SMALB (senior high) level; Rp 450 thousand per month for SMK (vocational school) level; and Rp 1.8 million per semester for Training Course Institution (LKP) level.

In addition, there is an additional fund of Rp 130 thousand per month to pay tuition fee for students who study at private SD/MI/SLB; Rp 170 thousand per month for private SMP/MTs/SMPLB; Rp 290 thousand per month for private SMA/MA/SMALB; and Rp 240 thousand per month for private SMK.

"During a disaster emergency status, KJP Plus funds can be used to buy food, health, and education needs in cash or non-cash," he said.
