The South Jakarta administration is collaborating with PT MRT Jakarta to soon hold the Jumat Beli Lokal (JBL) event.

No COD system, only order and pay after that the items are sent

South Jakarta Industry Trade Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-agency Head Dedy Dwi Widodo said the event, which is held from March 15 to 13, would promote 6,000 Jakpreneur products from ten sub-districts.

"Each sub-district offers 30 products and 10 other products from other regional apparatus organizations and the South Jakarta Dekranasda will be promoted at the event," he expressed, Sunday (3/13).

Central Jakarta JBL Records Transaction Value of Rp 51 Million

According to him, the various Jakpreneur products offered were culinary, fashion, and handicrafts.

"We work with Tokopedia for online shopping payments. No COD system, only order and pay after that the items are sent," he explained.

South Jakarta City Secretary, Ali Murtadho also urged the state civil apparatus (ASN) to enliven the event.

"If each employee spends Rp 100,000 and calculates 1,100 employees, then the estimate can reach Rp 1.1 billion. If not, we can achieve a minimum of 60 to 70 percent," he added.

As for the information, last year's JBL in South Jakarta had exceeded the expectations of business actors and activity organizers. For two weeks, the turnover reached Rp 105 million with a total of 3,484 products sold.
