Hundreds of People Enthusiastically Watching MotoGP Riders' Convoy

Hundreds of people are eagerly waiting on the roadside to watch MotoGP racers' convoy from in front of the Merdeka Palace to Bundaran Hotel Indonesia (HI), on Wednesday (3/16).

People try to capture the special moments of 20 MotoGP riders who crossed Jalan MH Thamrin. Some of them even dare to rush to the side of the road to take photos or touch the racers' arms.

The opportunity to see firsthand the world-class MotoGP riders, for some people, is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. One of them was Mariani, a 31-year-old woman from Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta who deliberately came to Bundaran HI with her husband and children to see her favorite rider, Marc Marques.

"I'm happy to see them in person, even though I can't get close to them. So far, I've only watched them on TV," she expressed.

The same statement also came out from Shinta, a Depok resident who came to Bundaran HI in the morning to see firsthand the MotoGP riders who will compete at the Mandalika Circuit, Lombok.

She confessed that it was the best moment of her life and maybe she would not experience it at another time in her life.

"I record a video since the beginning of the parade. This will be a memory for a lifetime," said the admirer of Italian MotoGP rider, Francesco Bagnaia.
