BPNT Distributed to Residents Exposed to COVID-19 in Kapuk

As many as 700 non-cash food assistance (BPNT) from the Ministry of Social Affairs were distributed to residents exposed to COVID-19 in Kapuk, Cengkareng, West Jakarta.

Today, the ministry and Bank BNI distribute BPNT to the recipients

Kapuk Urban Village Head Ujang Sungkawa mentioned BPNT was distributed in the form of BNI ATM cards with balance of Rp 200,000.

"Today, the ministry and Bank BNI distribute BPNT to the recipients," he stated, Thursday (3/17).

72 Residents on Untung Jawa Island Receive BPNT

Volunteers from the ministry had verified BNPT recipients for three days and resulted that there were 2,247 recipients of BNPT in Kapuk. BNPT would be distributed in stages to residents exposed to COVID-19.

"ATM card cannot be withdrawn in cash by recipients. They must use it to buy groceries at shops equipped with BNI EDC machine," he conveyed.

A resident of RT 10/12 Kapuk named Sayuti (56) was grateful to receive BNPT from the government.

"Thank you for the assistance. It is enough to buy groceries," she closed.
