10,000 Lower-Income People in West Jakarta Get Aid

West Jakarta Social Sub-Department Head, Ika Yuli Rahayu, said the aid distributed consists of 1,800 aid for Business Group (KUBE) and lower-income family productive business, 50 hearing aid for neglected elderly, 100 wheelchairs and 50 hearing aid for people with disability, 100 three-foot sticks, 200 food packages for people with disability, 500 school supplies for children with disability, 1,000 games or robot toys for children with special needs, 1,000 school supplies for orphans, 300 staples packages for street kids, 500 staples packages, etc.
“The total of aid we distributed, either staples packages, supplies, et cetera, it is for 10,000 people. We gave to welcome HKSN as form of concern for others who happen to have limitations or not able,” she stated, Wednesday (12/10).
Underprivileged People will Get 10 Cubic of Water per MonthSigit (21), a Tambora resident with mental retardation at SLB Kasih Bunda (school for people with disability), admitted grateful for the school supplies aid given, like books, bags, and stationery. According to him, the aid can lighten the burden to meet school needs over stationery.
“Everything is expensive now, including school supplies. With this aid, my grandmother’s burden is lighter,” expressed the man who is an orphaned and lives with his grandmother.
