The South Jakarta administration continues to intensify booster shots in various areas that have managed to reach 1.64 million targeted people or 47.98 percent until April 2022.

Alhamdulillah, the local people are very enthusiastic about this service

South Jakarta Health Sub-agency Head M Helmy said the enthusiasm of the people was high enough to get booster vaccines in the vaccination centers spread across 10 sub-districts throughout South Jakarta.

"We open the service in residential areas, malls or shopping centers, and places of worship. Alhamdulillah, the local people are very enthusiastic about this service," he expressed, Thursday (4/21).

33 Semanan Residents Vaccinated with Booster

According to him, the government's policy of requiring residents to get booster vaccines during Eid homecoming had an impact on increasing resident visits to vaccination centers.

"The increase in visits has almost doubled compared to before the government issued this new regulation," he continued.

He is currently still waiting for the Health Agency's direction to open a booster shot booth during the homecoming flow at the Lebak Bulus Bus Terminal which starts on D-7 before Eid.

"No directives so far, but we are ready to open services to accelerate vaccination," he closed.
