Booster Vaccination Rate in Cipayung Reaches 69.18 Percent

The COVID-19 booster vaccination rate in Cipayung Sub-district, East Jakarta has reached 69.18 percent, which is the highest in East Jakarta.

This is the highest figure in East Jakarta which has exceeded the target in Jakarta by 60 percent

According to Cipayung Sub-district Head Panangaran Ritonga, booster vaccination had been given to 139,566 residents aged 18 years to elderly with a vaccination rate of 69.18 percent from the target of 201,743 residents.

"This is the highest figure in East Jakarta which has exceeded the target in Jakarta by 60 percent," he mentioned, Wednesday (4/20).

Although the booster vaccination rate had exceeded the target, his side still promoted vaccination programs with a door-to-door system. The implementation could be carried out in the RW secretariat office, RPTRA, SKKT, places of worship, and other places.

"We are intensifying vaccination service at night because it is effective in increasing vaccination rate in Cipayung Sub-district," he stated.

His side also collaborated with various sides to accelerate the work to achieve the vaccination target. For example, he collaborated with AKPOL Alumni Association 2004 to conduct vaccination service on Jalan Arta Kencana RW 02 Cilangkap, as well as administrators of mosques, churches, schools, Islamic boarding schools, and others.
