660 Motor Pemudik Diberangkat dari Terminal Pulogadung

660 Eid Travelers' Motorbikes Departed from Pulo Gadung Terminal

The Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) has dispatched 22 trucks used to transport 660 Eid travelers' motorbikes to seven destinations in the Jakarta Free Homecoming 2022 program.

They just need to show their STNK and KTP when registering

Those motorbikes are transported from Pulo Gadung Terminal, East Jakarta to Semarang, Kebumen, Solo, Yogyakarta, Wonogiri, Jombang, and Malang.

Jakarta Dishub Head Syafrin Liputo conveyed the 660 motorbikes had passed the verification.

Travelers Urged to Always Implement Health Protocols during Homecoming Trip

"Overall, as many as 739 families have met the requirements to register their motorbikes in this program," he said, at Pulo Gadung Terminal, Tuesday (4/26).

Nearly 20,000 Eid travelers who would depart from the terminal on Wednesday (4/27) had attached their motor vehicle registration certificates (STNKs).

"The number of these vehicles is in line with our target. That means the motorbike slots for homecoming backflow are full already," he explained.

His side estimated their motorbikes would arrive at the destination city terminal tomorrow. Travelers who had arrived at the destination city terminal could immediately take their motorbikes to go to their hometown.

During Eid backflow, travelers could register again their motorbikes to be brought back to Jakarta. Those motorbikes would depart for Pulo Gadung Terminal, East Jakarta on May 7, 2022.

"They just need to show their STNK and KTP when registering. The data will be verified by the Jakarta Free Homecoming Team assigned to each terminal," he stated.

He added that the trucks used to transport the motorbikes had been checked by officers and declared roadworthy.

"The drivers are also tested for drugs. Those who meet the requirements are allowed to transport motorbikes to the designated destinations," he closed.
