Governor Anies Releases Departure of Free Homecoming Participants

Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan released the departure of homecoming and returning flow participants for free Eid homecoming, at Pulogebang Bus Terminal, East Jakarta, on Wednesday (4/27).
Each departed fleet has a companion officer
Besides the Governor, there were also representatives of Polda Metro Jaya, Transportation Ministry Land Transportation Director General; Transportation Management Agency Head for Greater Jakarta; Ombudsman Vice Chairperson; Jakarta City Transportation Council Chairperson; Central Organda DPP Chairperson; Indonesian Transportation Society Chairperson; PT Jasa Marga President Director; ITDP Indonesia Director; and Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Head.
The Governor disclosed that the free homecoming program had been sleeping for two years due to Covid-19. It could finally happen again in 2022 once the situation is under control.

He explained that all the fleets used for the free homecoming program had gone through the ramp check stage to ensure the condition of the vehicles were roadworthy, as well as the drivers who had a health check.
"Each departed fleet has a companion officer. They will accompany them to the final destination, as well as later when returning to Jakarta. They are tasked with ensuring a smooth and safe journey to the destination," he added.
To support this year's Eid homecoming, the Jakarta administration had prepared 4 main terminals (Pulo Gebang, Kampung Rambutan, Kalideres, and Tanjung Priok) and 3 backup terminals (Lebak Bulus, Grogol, and Muara Angke), and all terminals would have health posts for checking up bus crew health, booster vaccination post, and antigen rapid test post.
Here are 17 cities and districts for free homecoming program:

4. Kediri 13. Solo

It should be noted that the destination cities/districts that have the most travelers are Solo, Yogyakarta, and Wonogiri. As for the departure of trucks for motorbikes transportation, there are 7 destinations:

7. Malang
And returning flow using trucks to transport motorbikes, departing from:

As for the information, the free homecoming program will be conducted from April 26 and 27, 2022, and returning flow from May 7 to 8, 2022, with the departure of the truck for motorbikes transportation carried out one day before the departure of the passenger bus.
