Ragunan Zoo Opens from Second Day of Eid

Want to spend your Eid holiday with family in Ragunan Zoo, South Jakarta? You better check the following information before visiting Ragunan Zoo.

Adult visitors have at least been vaccinated with the second dose and children have been vaccinated with the first dose

Ragunan Zoo Management Unit Head Endah Rumiyati said that Ragunan Zoo started operating again from the second day of Eid al-Fitr, precisely on May 3, 2022.

"Ragunan Zoo is open to the public a day after Eid al-Fitr 1443 Hijri. This is following Governor Regulation No. 63/2018 regarding service optimization," she stated, Saturday (4/30).

People who plan to visit Ragunan Zoo must register online a day before their visit.

"People cannot book visits for the next few days. Besides, visitors can only access the north and west gates," she informed.

During the Eid holiday, Ragunan Zoo limited its capacity up to 45 thousand visitors, or 75 percent of the total visitors capacity.

"Online registration is open from the morning until the daily quota has been met," she conveyed.

She explained that Ragunan Zoo visitors must be vaccinated against COVID-19, both children and adults.

"At least, adult visitors already have the second dose, while children have the first dose," she asserted.
