North Jakarta PPKD Provides Training for Heavy Equipment Workers

The North Jakarta Regional Job Training Center (PPKD) holds training for heavy equipment workers at Takumi Training Center, PT Komatsu Complex, Sukapura Urban Village, Cilincing in collaboration with PT Komatsu Indonesia and Komatsu Indonesia Peduli Foundation (YKIP).

I believe this collaboration can produce skilled human resources

The training which was opened by Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy (Nakertransgi) Agency Head Andri Yansyah will be held for five days, from May 17 to 21, and attended by 40 participants.

In his remarks, he stated the training is carried out as one of the Jakarta Government's efforts to reduce the unemployment rate and produce skilled human resources according to their talents. On this occasion, he asked the participants to take the training seriously.

"I believe this collaboration can produce skilled human resources," he asserted, Tuesday (5/17).

North Jakarta PPKD Head Siti Nurbaiti explained that the training provided vocational materials, namely welding, PC 130 heavy equipment operator, crane operator, and forklift operator.

"PT Komatsu and YKIP have provided instructors, materials, equipment, and tools. Each vocational program is attended by 10 participants with a predetermined training time," she conveyed.

Meanwhile, PT Komatsu Indonesia (KI) President Director Pratjojo Dewo Sridadi admitted that he was proud to collaborate with North Jakarta PPKD to improve the competence of human resources.

"We will review this training thus it can be on target," he mentioned.
