34 Locations in Jakarta will Soon Be Installed with PLTS

The Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy (Nakertransgi) Agency will doon install solar power plants (PLTS) in 34 locations.
They will be a source of electrical energy for electricity needs in buildings and offices
Those power plants were planned to be installed on the buildings, such as schools, sports centers, hospitals, health centers, government offices, and Transjakarta bus shelters.
Jakarta Nakertransgi Agency Head Andri Yansyah mentioned that the power plants would be installed in 6 points in Central Jakarta, 6 points in North Jakarta, 4 points in South Jakarta, 6 points in West Jakarta, 6 points in East Jakarta, 2 points in Thousand Islands, and 4 points in Transjakarta bus shelters.

Four Transjakarta bus shelters that would be installed with power plants were Cawang Ciliwung, Gatot Subroto LIPI, Cawang UKI, and Pancoran Barat bus shelters.
According to him, power plant installation is a part of the government's efforts to intensify the use of renewable energy, support green building, and as an act to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Currently, its installation is still in the procurement stage which is planned to execute in June 2022.
"The total power is about 511 kilowatts peak (kWp). There is no contract value yet, but the budget ceiling reaches around Rp 15 billion," he conveyed.
