Visiting SMKN 24 Jakarta, Vice Governor: Superior School Program Goes Well

Jakarta Vice Governor Ahmad Riza Patria visited the SMKN 24 Jakarta, Bambu Apus, Cipayung, East Jakarta, on Wednesday (5/18) afternoon.

He made sure that the SMKNs in Jakarta were getting better at implementing various superior school programs.
As for the information, in improving student competence, SMKs in Jakarta were prompted to make various superior school programs and form the Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD). There are 9 SMKNs in Jakarta that are set to implement the Financial Management Pattern (PPK) - BLUD, one of which is SMKN 24 Jakarta.

He went on to say that the role of SMK in Jakarta has a very important meaning in helping students to get jobs after graduation according to their skills outside of college. Hence, the Jakarta administration educates and trains SMK students with various superior school programs.
"We're grateful that they (SMKs) in Jakarta have a good solution," he continued.
On the same occasion, he appreciated the Jakarta Education Agency (Disdik) and the teachers at SMKN 24 Jakarta who have played a major role in advancing education in Jakarta.
"I visit SMKs, as our future education is to ensure that children can work. Thank you for making sure schools in Jakarta are getting better," he added.
SMKN 24 Principal Tri Eriyani conveyed that SMKN 24 had been designated by the administration to be one of the SMKs that implemented the PPK - BLUD pattern. She explained the school is currently accredited A, as well as has 1,223 students and 49 inclusions.
"Hospitality with 316 students, 15 inclusions; Software Engineering (RPL) with 213 students, 7 inclusions; Catering with 311 students, 18 inclusions; Fashion Design with 285 students, 7 inclusions; and Travel Business (UPW) with 108 students, 2 inclusions. Our school also has a standard 3-star hotel with 28 rooms; Rajawali Hall with 500 people capacity, multifunction courts (tennis, basketball, and futsal), and other facilities," she explained.
Besides the Vice Governor, there were also Jakarta Disdik Head Nahdiana; East Jakarta Vice Mayor Hendra Hidayat; Bambu Apus Urban Village Head Novianl officials under the Jakarta administration; and teachers and students of SMKN 24 Jakarta.
