100 Jakpreneurs to Enliven Jakarta E-Prix in June

A total of 100 jakpreneurs under the Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Agency will enliven the upcoming Jakarta E-Prix 2022, which falls on June 4, 2022.

Product curation had been carried out to select the 100 best jakpreneurs who would get the opportunity to sell their products at prestigious racing events such as E-Prix.

Jakarta PPKUKM Agency Head Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo said 200 jakpreneurs had gone through the product curation process in the first batch at Jakarta Creative Hub (JCH) last Wednesday (5/18). While the second batch would be held on Wednesday (5/25).

Jakarta PPKUKM Agency appointed four independent curators to determine which jakpreneurs were deemed worthy of selling their products in Jakarta E-Prix 2022.

"Yesterday, there were 200 jakpreneurs who took part in product curation. The result is still being processed by four independent curators. We will open another opportunity for jakpreneurs to participate," she conveyed, Saturday (5/21).

For enlivening the event, jakpreneurs must meet the criteria determined by the curators, such as routine in production thus it can meet the order quota, and have Home Industry Food (PIRT) license and Micro and Small Business Permit (IUMK), and Halal and hygiene certificate.

Jakpreneurs who passed the assessment would use QRIS as a payment method since this payment system was considered to make transactions easier.

QRIS from each jakpreneurs could also monitor the overall turnover of product sales from each MSME at Jakarta E-Prix 2022.

"We will help to make QRIS for jakpreneurs whose products meet the criteria but don't have QRIS. Currently, more than 300 jakpreneurs have gone digital," she explained.

According to her, the 100 best jakpreneurs would get stalls with complete facilities, such as tents, tables, and chairs for free to serve the customers.

"Before exhibition on June 4, 2022, we will hold a briefing for jakpreneurs who passed the curation from May 28 to 29, 2022," she mentioned.
