26 Schools in West Jakarta Declared Anti Corruption

As many as 26 state senior high schools (SMAN) and state vocational schools (SMKN) in West Jakarta declared their schools as anti corruption schools that love peace (stop brawl) and accountable. With the declaration signed by the school principals, schools that are conducive to excellent educational services and pro-people could be realized.

“Schools must be honest and resign in doing their duties, as well as be transparent by not charging levy, discriminating, and doing pretenses,” stated Head of Jakarta Education Department, Lasro Marbun, after the declaration signing at SMAN 2, Gajah Mada, West Jakarta, Wednesday (12/17).
According to Head of West Jakarta Secondary Education Sub-Department, Slamet Widodo, the anti-corruption declaration was signed by 17 SMANs and 9 SMKNs.

It is also a form of West Jakarta Secondary Education Sub-Department’s commitment in realizing condition that is conducive to excellent educational services and pro-people,” he said.
In the future, Widodo added, schools are expected to obey the laws and ethics as well be religious and actively involved in the process of habituation to enforce the commitment of love to the nation.
“One of the urgent changes is the effort to break the chains of brawl between students and penetration against corruption latent danger. Hopefully with the declaration, the process of a conducive, transparent, and accountable educational service in West Jakarta would be realized,” he uttered.
