Rekening BOP di Sekolah Akan Dijadikan Satu Kode

City Government will Combine BOP Accounts

Jakarta Provincial Government will change grants mechanism of Education Operational Assistance (BOP). Later, dozens of existing BOP accounts, will be combined as one with school needs item description. Even so, the school can still use the account to pay for a variety of required purposes.

BOS just use one account code, but could be spent for anything. We will make BOP like that during it can be accounted properly

"Today is rather difficult (for school) because of limited budget and BOP account codes. We will add to the BOP in the future, and also improve the account code as well. It has been reported to the leader and he agreed," said Jakarta Education Department Head, Larso Marbun, after attending Clean and Accountable school declaration in SMK Negeri 29 South Jakarta which attended by 29 SMA (Senior High School) and 17 SMK (Vocational High School) of all South Jakarta high school, Tuesday (12/16).

According to Marbun, BOP will imitate the School Operational Assistance (BOS) process, which is only given to one account code only. By doing so, the supervision becomes easier.

BOP to Be Added 10-20 Percent

"BOS just uses one account code, but could be spent for anything. We will make BOP like that during it can be accounted properly," he explained.

He hoped that system will give better advantages to school. Because the manager can prioritize critical needs according to the budget amount.

"If we divide it into 10 accounts not all will be shared equally. They can be used as need with bigger funds," he said.

Larso also appreciates the schools which began committed to be cleaner. The Commitment is considered positive, because the schools are beginning to do transparency now.

"It's very good, because school started to open. It could save teachers, officials, and the school as well as education for the students to be more honest," he disclosed.
