Jakarta is expecting light-moderate rain and thunderstorm today.
The Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) released a weather forecast where it reported thunderstorms in West and South Jakarta this afternoon. While light rain falls in Central, and East Jakarta; moderate rain in East Jakarta, and partly cloudy in Thousand Islands.
Thunderstorm in Parts of Jakarta in the Late Afternoon, BMKG Says"Beware of rain with lightning and strong winds in South and East Jakarta around late afternoon," as quoted from BMKG's official website on Monday (5/23).
In the evening, light rain is predicted to fall in West, North Jakarta, and Thousand Islands, while cloudy in South, East, and Central Jakarta.
Meanwhile, BMKG predicted cloudy throughout Jakarta at tomorrow's dawn.
Today's temperature in Jakarta could reach 24-32 degrees Celsius with humidity of 80-95 percent.
