116 Tons of Waste Transported from Taman Sari Every Day

The West Jakarta Environment (LH) Sub-agency transports 116 tons of waste every day from Taman Sari, which is dominated by household waste, about 60 percent of the total waste.

We deploy 28 fleets to transport the waste to TPST Bantar Gebang

West Jakarta LH Sub-agency Head Slamet Riyadi conveyed that the 116 tons of waste a day was collected from 8 urban villages in Taman Sari Sub-district, namely Glodok, Tangki, Taman Sari, Keagungan, Krukut, Maphar, Mangga Besar, and Pinangsia.

"Every day, we collect 116 tons of waste from Taman Sari Sub-district," he stated, Thursday (5/26).

He conveyed that his side routinely transports the garbage every morning, especially in some waste disposal sites (TPS), such as on Jalan Pancoran Glodok.

"We deploy 28 fleets to transport the waste to TPST Bantar Gebang," he said.
