The North Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency has noted that as many as 3,912 trees spread across six sub-districts have been pruned from January to May 2022.
Of 3,912 trees, 807 are lightly pruned, 1,849 are mediumly pruned, and 1,107 are heavily pruned
North Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency Head Elly Sugestianingsih said it aimed at anticipating fallen trees in the rainy season and also making the residential area, park, and green belt greener.
"Of 3,912 trees, 807 are lightly pruned, 1,849 are mediumly pruned, and 1,107 are heavily pruned, while 102 cut down and 47 fell," she stated, Friday (6/3).
862 Trees in West Jakarta Pruned along MarchTo prune them, she sent around 15 personnel to the location.
