After being delayed for three months, hundreds of illegal huts along Sekretaris Riverbank, RW 03, 04, and 05, Kebon Jeruk Urban Village, Kebon Jeruk Sub-District, West Jakarta, finally demolished by 500 joint personnel of Satpol PP, army/police, and one excavator. Illegal Huts in Tanah Abang DemolishedEffendi disclosed, 30 out of 235 households on such riverbank have been verified and is entitled to occupy the Daan Mogot Flat. "In accordance with Jakarta Provincial Government's policy, residents who have Jakarta ID cards and family card are entitled to occupy the flat," he stressed.
For other people who do not get the flat, he continued, urban village will keep conducting verification. He also appealed they who meet the requirements to immediately take the PM 1 at urban village office.

Atin, (32), a resident of RT 01/05, Kebon Jeruk Urban Village expressed she does not yet receive the flat. This is because her ID card is still written in Tasikmalaya, West Java.
"I just rent a home here. I also have no Jakarta ID card. Temporarily, I wills stay in an empty apartment near from demolishment site while waiting for a new rented home," she uttered.
