South Korea Makes a Working Visit to Jakarta Public Service Mall

South Korea Interior and Safety Minister Lee Sang-min and his delegation made a working visit to the Jakarta Public Service Mall on Jalan Rasuna Said, Setiabudi, South Jakarta, on Thursday (6/16).

We will learn more to further optimize what has been done so far

The working visit was in order to see the facilities and performance achievements of the Jakarta Public Service Mall and to share experiences in the implementation of public services.

There were also Spatial Planning and Environment Division Head Vera Revina Sari; Standardization of Public Services and Inclusive Services Assistant Deputy for KemenPANRB Noviana Andrina; and Jakarta Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Agency Head Benni Aguscandra.

MRT Jakarta Explores Cooperation with South Korea

Based on Beritajakarta.id monitoring, Mr. Sang-min reviewed one by one public services located on the 1st to 4th floors of the building. He also took the time to listen to the presentation of the performance and achievements of public service delivery in Jakarta.

According to him, he saw the services provided at the Public Service Mall were very advanced and certainly made it very easy for the community, especially residents.

"When I return to South Korea, I will find out more about what can be learned from what Jakarta has done and also steps for future cooperation that can be taken by both parties," he admitted.

Aside that, Noviana Andrina said that this working visit was a very important moment to establish cooperation between the two countries.

In Indonesia, especially in Jakarta, her party could learn information technology from South Korea which is more advanced in a bid to optimize public services in Jakarta and its future development.

"Not only in Jakarta but also all districts/cities related to how the system can be shared or used in all districts/cities that will organize Public Service Malls," she added.

Vera Revinasari explained that the Public Service Mall is a form of integrated service. Despite the performance is good, the service needs to be optimized to provide more convenience and benefits for the community.

"Through this cooperation, in the future, we will learn more to further optimize what has been done so far," she closed.
