Flower wreath congratulatory boards to Jakarta's 495th Anniversary are seen lined up along the La Piazza Kelapa Gading roundabout, North Jakarta.

Kelapa Gading Vice Chairman DTM Rahmat Syahputra expressed there were about 102 wreaths, with various decorations. It was a form of gratitude, pride, and love for the residents and business people in the area of Jakarta.

"Wreaths are a form of joy for Kelapa Gading people to welcome Jakarta's anniversary," he said, Friday (6/24).

He explained that those wreaths were arranged in a circle along the La Piazza roundabout thus pedestrians could see and enjoy it from all sides.

"The La Piazza roundabout is the center of Kelapa Gading city which is visited by many people. So, if it is used as a location for placing various wreaths," he explained.

North Jakarta City Council member representing Kelapa Gading Sub-district Ajie Lubis added that it was a form of collaboration and participation of residents and business people in Kelapa Gading in enlivening the celebration of the Jakarta's anniversary.

"This is a symbol of pride and hope for the progress of the City of Jakarta," he concluded.

He detailed that 102 wreaths that had been received from Sunday (6/18) to Wednesday (6/22) came from Kelapa Gading Sub-district (one piece); Kelapa Gading Timur Urban Village (19 pieces); Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village (18 pieces); Kelapa Gading Barat Urban Village (eight pieces); as well as business and community stakeholders (56 pieces).

RW 14 Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village Chairwoman Refianti uttered this variety of wreaths added to the liveliness of the La Piazza roundabout area on Jakarta's anniversary. She hoped that Jakarta would be more advanced, friendly, clean, safe, and comfortable.

"Residents are very supportive and enthusiastic about sending these wreaths," she stated.
