1,000 Packages of Cleaning Tools Distributed to Ciracas Residents

Supporting the Jakarta Waste Awareness Movement Week (PGJSS) program, the Jakarta Environment (LH) Agency distributed 1,000 packages of cleaning tools from CSR to RW 09 residents, Ciracas Urban Village, East Jakarta, on Friday (6/24).

Those cleaning tools consist of 30 blue trash cans, 4 garbage carts, composters, garbage shredders, and so on

The assistance was given symbolically by LH Agency Head Asep Kuswanto to RW 09 Ciracas Urban Village Head Triyanto at Padepokan Restu Bumi, LH Agency Dormitory in Ciracas. It would be distributed to residents in the dormitory and outside the dormitory in Ciracas Urban Village.

"Those cleaning tools consist of 30 blue trash cans, 4 garbage carts, composters, garbage shredders, and so on," he conveyed.

East Jakarta LH Sub-agency Promotes Waste Sorting Family Card Program

He hoped that it could be useful and encourage residents to sort waste at the source and make it a habit.

"Thanks to the mayors, sub-district heads, urban village heads, RT/RW heads, and Jakarta residents who have participated in PGJSS," he expressed.

RW 09 Ciracas Head Triyanto stated that assistance was to support the waste sorting program, including sorting organic waste, non-organic waste, hazardous (B3) waste, and residue waste.

"It is needed by residents to sort their waste," he concluded.
