Basuki Ensures PNS Salary Paid Today

Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) ensures the salary of city civil servants will be paid today.

Basuki explained the delay of salary payment was caused by miscommunication due to massive reshuffle. "There was miscommunication and late calculation," he added.

Preceding Budget could Be Used to Pay PNS` Salary

According to him, the basic salary should be transferred first due to no difference. While for the allowance, it must be based on position where the servants sit on. "It's simple," he continued.

Basuki uttered the payment process should be done yesterday, Wednesday (1/7).

Meanwhile, Tohir, one of Jakarta Dept. of Communication, Informatics and Public Relation staffs, admitted yet received his salary this morning.

"I've checked my account and nothing different. I hope it can be disbursed as soon as possible," he hoped.
