Mass Reshuffle, Jakarta Civil Servants' Salary Undisbursed

The Jakarta Financial Management Body (BPKD) revealed that the salary disbursement for December to civil servants serving under Jakarta Provincial Government delayed. It is not due to budget issue, but a mass reshuffle towards officials that was done on Friday (1/2).

"Yes, there is a delay in the salary distribution. Actually, the money was already prepared, but its real process to set the Income and Expenditure Approval Letter (SP2B) must ideally be signed by every department head," Head of Jakarta BPKD, Heru Budi Hartono, at City Hall, Wednesday (1/7).

Djarot Not Involved in Civil Servants Reshuffle

Hartono explained, the signatory having a bit of trouble because the process of officials transition occupy new positions still being processed. "We do know the department heads is still in a new position, considering this is old transformation," he expressed.

Former Acting North Jakarta Mayor promised to resolve the issue soon. He will ask the City Secretary, Saefullah, to sign SP2B. 

"Mr. Saefullah will sign the letter this noon, and the salary will disburse tomorrow," he exclaimed.
