Preceding Budget could Be Used to Pay PNS` Salary

The Jakarta civil servants yet received their January salary until today. Responding to the problem, Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama said, the PNS salary should be able to use the precede budget.

"The salary should be paid, because the salary system has been arranged in the bank and we also able to use the precede budget," said Basuki at City Hall, Wednesday (1/7).
Basuki added, the major reshuffle of civil servants in Jakarta Government can not become a reason as the delay of payroll because the basic salary of the PNS is already paid in the beginning of the month. Meanwhile, the other allowance is always paid on date 14 of every month.

Basuki admitted he feels suspicious regarding this matter. "Some of officials who were down as a staff could set this condition. They might get angry because of major reshuffle," he admitted.
Earlier, Jakarta Head of Provincial Employment Agency (BKD), Agus Suradika explained, as many as 72 thousands of Jakarta civil servants will be paid within 1 to 2 days ahead.
Meanwhile, the Jakarta Financial Management Body (BPKD) Head, Heru Budi Hartono added, there should be letter of income and expenditure endorsement which is signed by BKD head. His side needs to match the data with BKD.
